Why does sex have to be immature? Why can't it be lovemaking?

You are saying that as if it is a value judgment.

I just don't think there is anything "mature" about it.

Lovemaking is fucking for those who don't know how.

Okay, valid point. I am making it into a judgement call.

But explain to me how lovemaking is fucking for those who don't know how?

I mean, I love a good fuck, don't get me wrong, but I think there can be a big difference. Lovemaking to me would imply something slower and more attentive, whereas fucking is faster, harder, and more primal. Both fun, but different forms.

I mean the people who use "lovemaking" as a euphemism are usually too repressed to do it well.

I think "making love" is one of those phrases that is so vague that you can't really say what it is. When I use it (on those rare occasions), it has nothing to do with sex. It means to ferment the emotions of love... generally (but not necessarily) through touch and intimacy.

Which is what I was attempting to convey... I think. Which to me is a more mature form of fucking, sex or no sex.

But again the issue of not properly defining my terms! Double damn! And god, repression. Ain't that a danger. Definitely need to find an outlet for that... ;)
